About Sweet Marie's Diner

Our Story

Sweet Marie’s was built on family, tradition, and the kind of food that brings people together around the table. We serve Southern comfort food, Carolina favorites, and historic Carolina dishes you’ve probably never heard of — recipes passed down through generations across the coastal South.

We celebrate the food, cultures, and traditions that built the Carolinas, and we strive to showcase and preserve them through the food we cook and the content we create. From seafood shacks and church cookouts to family kitchens and forgotten local recipes, our goal is to keep those stories alive and share them with a new generation.

Everything we do is rooted in hospitality, community, and the belief that good food should feel like home.

More Than a Meal

Feed A Neighbor is at the heart of who we are.

Carolina has always been home and, at our house, everybody eats.

That belief inspired Feed A Neighbor — a way for our customers, supporters, and sponsors to help provide meals for neighbors going through hard seasons, elderly members of our community, working families trying to make ends meet, and members of our growing homeless population.

Every meal shared through the program is about more than food. It’s about dignity, kindness, and community taking care of community the Carolina way.

When you support Sweet Marie’s, you’re helping us preserve Carolina food traditions while making sure fewer people in our communities go without a hot meal.
